Who I Am
A practiced craft, not a theory.

My name is Dakohai Matityahu. I am a spoken word artist and trained restorative justice facilitator — I completed all three tiers of restorative justice training through Suffolk University, and I bring that training together with artistic practice into every room I enter. This is not theory. It is a practiced craft, built on real experience holding circles for young people, communities, and organizations navigating real conflict and real change.
I serve as Lead Poet and Restorative Justice Specialist at BeHeard.World, a Boston based 501(c)(3) with thirteen years of history using the arts to advance social justice, and as a board member and circle keeper at SPOKE, a Boston based arts nonprofit with nearly thirty years of history using art to heal communities.
For five years, I worked alongside Clarissa Turner, founder of her nonprofit Legacy Lives On, facilitating a restorative justice program called New Beginnings, contracted with Brockton Public Schools — work that extended beyond the classroom into families and the broader Brockton community. Beyond that contract, I continue to support Miss Clarissa Turner directly in all of her work.

Team Repair Featured
$1,200 – $2,500
Circle-based restorative practice for organizations after rupture — a layoff, a leadership change, a resolved harassment complaint, or any breakdown in trust. Not HR mediation. Not team building. A structured space for a team to name what happened and agree on repair.
Single Session Facilitation
$450 – $850
A one time circle or facilitated conversation for a specific conflict, transition, or need. Includes preparation, a 60–90 minute session, and written follow up.
Workshop Series
$2,200 – $4,800
A defined arc of three to eight sessions building restorative practice skills within your team, classroom, or community over several weeks.
Ongoing Monthly Retainer
$1,000 – $1,500 / month
Regular access to facilitation, consultation, and circle practice, with priority scheduling. Minimum six month commitment.
Keynote & Speaking
$750 – $2,000
A spoken word performance combined with restorative justice framing for conferences, staff gatherings, or assemblies.
Training & Capacity Building
$3,000 – $6,000
A structured training arc for your own staff or team leads in foundational restorative practice and circle facilitation.
